Where the name comes from
Odau — ở đâu — is Vietnamese for where.
Ask “where the hell is it” fifty times a day and eventually you ask in another language. Where is the contract. Where did the spend go. Who owns this tool. Who still has access. Who approved it, and when.
Nobody could answer, because the answers were spread across twenty systems that were never built to agree. So we built the place the answers live.
Why we built it
We did not research this problem.We were hired to fix it, company after company.
Most of us came out of operations and consulting. We were the people brought in when a company could not say what it owned, what it paid for, or who was actually using it.
One coherent tool
Not modules that only work if you buy all of them. It arrives whole, and it takes work off your team instead of adding another system to manage.
